The Principality of Winter's Edge is an active division of Amtgard in the South Eastern United States.
This year Winter's Edge is presenting its kingdom bid to the Amtgard Circle of Monarchs at the Gathering of the Clans event in New Mexico.
Chapters of Winter’s Edge of Amtgard
Winters Edge currently consists of 12 chapters under our banner. These chapters incorporate five states: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, & Tennessee.
History
The Central Eastern Alliance was founded in 2002 and was officially founded as a Principality on September 2, 2003 as Winter’s Edge. Under the Kingdom of Neverwinter, the Principality of Winter’s Edge has grown from five original chapters to thirteen groups. Winter’s Edge now contains a duchy, six baronies, and four shires. Together, Winter’s Edge is a geographically large principality— over the last few years, Winter’s Edge has matured into a semi-autonomous region that has put forth exceptional effort in counting its geographical width. A group known as the CC Plot Team has implemented a full role-play weekend event, known as Crystalline Chronicles that has had continued success for seven years. For the past two years, Winter’s Edge has run a weekend-long Arts & Sciences event with over 30 crafting classes. The Principality has shown exceptional growth and maturation in the past few years.
